Amazing speakers. Compelling topics. Thought leaders. And a rooftop sunset reception as well!
On October 3rd and 4th, MCBC will embark on our biggest journey yet. Thirty-two years after our founding and with many proud accomplishments, it is time for us to evolve and focus on how we can be more impactful with our research and our unique voice. We will host our first-ever Financial Equity Summit with the Arbella Insurance Foundation as Presenting Sponsor. The summit is a two-day event with local and national speakers focusing on closing our racial wealth gap in Massachusetts and the nation and thinking proactively about how best to deliver financial services to lower income consumers in an ever-changing landscape.
On Monday night October 3rd, we will host an in-person reception at Dorchester Brewing Company and make an exciting organizational announcement. Our intention to expand our focus and capacity in the coming years to include the full range of financial services that impact low- and moderate-income consumers and to partner more with government and quasi-government agencies that impact our neighborhoods and our policies.
We are a partnership of financial industry professionals, community leaders and government officials dedicated to closing racial wealth gaps and improving the financial futures of low- and moderate-income households. We are on the move and hope you will join us. Registration information is coming soon. If you would like sponsorship information, please contact executive director Tom Callahan at email@example.com.
