Notes from the 3/9/17 Economic Development Committee Meeting

In case you missed the Economic Development Committee Meeting on 3/9/17, details of the meeting are included below.
1) Jabes Rojas, Deputy Chief, Access and Opportunity and Nam Pham, Assistant Secretary for Business Development & International Trade, for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, joined the group to discuss the state’s efforts towards increasing diversity and access for minority-owned, women-owned, veteran-owned, LGBT-owned and disability-owned small businesses. They shared details from the Supplier Diversity Office Comprehensive Annual Report for Fiscal Year 2016.
2) Jean Horstman updated the group on the work of the C3 initiative. As a reminder, here is more information on the project.
