MCBC Executive Director Dana LeWinter traveled to DC for the National Community Reinvestment Coalition’s Annual Conference from March 16-18. Celebrating 25 Years in 2016, this year’s NCRC Annual Meeting was titled “Creating a Just Economy” and included 3 days of trainings and events focused on just that. Workshops were focused around several tracks, including “Access to Credit, Capital and Banking Services”, “Housing” and “Business Development”.

Highlights of the week inlcuded a keynote luncheon speech by NAACP President and CEO Cornell Williams Brook and a joint announcement by KeyBank and NCRC of a landmark $16.5 Billion Community Benefits Agreement. More info on the historic agreement can be found here.
