Our two-day Summit, with Presenting Sponsor Arbella Insurance Foundation, from October 3-4, 2022 featured local and national experts focused on closing racial wealth gaps. Our keynote speakers were NCRC’s Dedrick Asante-Muhammad, M&T Bank’s Grace Lee, Lisa Rice from the National Fair Housing Alliance, and Samir Goel, co-founder of Esusu.

Our panel discussions were on Closing the Racial Homeownership Gap; Special Purpose Credit Programs, Gaps in Small Business Lending; and the Promise and Pitfalls of FinTech. We closed the Summit with an in-person reception at Dorchester Brewing, with special guest Boston City Councillor Ruthzee Louijeune.

Each year, our Financial Equity Summit brings together bankers, activists, government officials, and thought leaders locally and nationally to highlight what is working and to inspire us to work harder to close our racial wealth gaps and invest in underserved communities.
